Yes, I am licensed with Racing Victoria and also have permission to train at Pakenham Racecourse. This gives us full-time access to the track during training hours, including the poly and grass tracks for galloping.
It also allows entries into the Southside Racing Jump-outs.
We have horse during all phases of their preparation- whether your horse is just returning from a spell, and needs an initial foundation of fitness work, or they require a freshen up between runs, we can accomodate your horse!
Typically all our horse live in individual grass paddocks with shelters.
During the winter, they sometimes spend nights inside the barn, and return to their normal paddocks during the day, but most horses are very relaxed and happy in the paddocks full time!
As well as the arena, we have a 1000m grass track on the property, but we float the horses (20mins) to Bunyip State Forrest for additional fitness work in the natural bushland and hills. There is over 166km squared for riding on sand tracks- perfect for developing all levels of fitness!
